Dr. Walaa-Eldeen Ibraheem has a Ph.D in International commercial law from Ain-Shams university, Cairo, Egypt, in 2006. He completed his professional and practical studies at the Chartered Insurance Institute in UK, and he got the Associated Membership of the institute, ACII, in 2014.
He has extensive experience in multi legal areas that extended for more than 24 years, after his graduation from Faculty of Law, Ain-Shams university in 1996. He started his career in Civil Aviation area , as an ATC controller at Cairo Tower, then after gotten his master’s in international Private Law, he joined the Technical Bureau of the Egyptian Minster of civil Aviation, in 1999, as a Legal technical member. He has gotten an excellent experience in the legal affairs of civil aviation, in participating as a member in bilateral air transport agreements, drafting civil aviation regulations, Aircraft investigations, teaching Air law at the civil aviation institute etc.
On 2008, Dr. Walaa has seconded to Zayed University in UAE, and worked as a professor in Business law, arbitration, IPR and other legal courses. In addition, he is participating in training legal professionals through academic and training institutes as ITJS and ADJA in UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. On 2010, Dr. Walaa worked as the legal consultant for the Federal Insurance Authority, he got a good experience in drafting insurance regulations, and participated in amending insurance law, in addition to all insurance cases and affairs.
In the December 2011, he Joined Al- Azab legal consultant firm, as a consultant for the group, he played as a consultant for the commercial legal affairs, as International Contracts, IPR, Civil Aviation, Maritime transport, Insurance, Investments, Arbitration. For his extensive experience in civil aviation and Airports, he became the responsible of the Civil aviation account in the firm. Moreover, He exercised as an arbitrator in several cases before ADCCA, and as a consultant at DIFC- Arbitration center.
Dr. Walaa, has participated in enormous international conferences, especially, in Oxford university, Sorbonne – Paris, Complutence university- Madrid, etc. in addition to papers in Scopus journals, his researches in Arabic and English languages.
